Background
Head Start Day Nursery has been established since 1994 with four nursery locations situated in the heart of England – Northampton, Daventry, Milton Keynes and Leighton Buzzard.
Design Brief
Design and build a responsive multi device website. To be fun, exciting and act as a window into everyday nursery life at Head Start giving lots of useful information for parents.
Design Solution
A fun illustration approach was developed and used throughout the website. The home page carousel sets a scene of 4 nursery locations set off rolling hills. Sign posts act as links to each nursery locations micro site.
Scrap book elements and components compliment the illustration style and help to highlight particular zones of information.
Animal characters act as a recognisable device for each age group of children within the nursery.
A suite of bold and bright colours are used throughout to make the information engaging and compliment the brand.
Using the WordPress platform the website is built on a responsive framework to work across multiple smart devices.
Key features include animated home page carousel, prospectus download and pay fees PayPal integration.
